Walk For Animals 2009

Friends, there's no better way to spend a Saturday morning in Seattle than walking around Greenlake to raise money for Pigs Peace Sanctuary.

If you don't believe me, come find out for yourself! Among the fun you'll find prizes, food, and - weather allowing - a charming pig to visit. Registration includes a rather fine organic shirt, and you can register in the store or online at www.pigspeace.org

New Product: World's Cutest Shirt

Our new shirt will melt your heart, guaranteed. Hopefully, it will also melt the heart of any omnivore who sees it (no guarantees there).

The sweet pig on the front is backed with a very clever saying, "pigs are for lovin' not the oven" and includes the Pigs Peace website. In sizes from 2T to 2XL and a range of colors, this organic, lightweight shirt is a charming way to spread the word!

Queen Bee Changes

The creative folks at Queen Bee are always making improvements to their line. Their upcoming changes are pretty significant, so this advance notice is important if there's a design you've got a crush on: they are retiring many favorite designs and colors. I'm sure the replacements will be lovely, but they will be quite different - earthier tones, different faux-leather.

Luckily, they've given us a couple of weeks to grab up any of the old favorites. If you've held off buying a beloved design, or are particularly fond of their cheery spring/summer palette, please let me know what it is (asap!) and I will order it for you. Keep in mind that Sidecar's retail price is lower than Queen Bee's, and you won't be paying for shipping.
